Gyamfi Amanquah is a Chemical Engineer and former Managing Director of GoEnergy, a subsidiary of Ghana Oil Company Limited (GOIL). He holds an MSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Burgas in Bulgaria and an Executive MBA from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).

He has three years of experience in the upstream industry with Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) and 22 years of experience in the downstream industry with GOIL. Over the course of his career at GOIL, he served in various capacities, including Regional Manager, District Manager, Distribution Manager, Engineering Services Manager, Bunkering Manager, and Head of Technical & Special Products.
